AN INTERESTING VISIT
Yesterday, I went to the Chicago History Museum. Even though it wasn't large the experience was interesting. The Museum has the most important collection of materials related to local history. There are always things to do and see to learn and enjoy.
I learned about Abraham Lincoln's life and I could see different artifacts and photographs of Chicago history. One that caught my attention was the Votes for Women's photo.
I've always liked old history of the countries. One of my favorite part of the visit was the Pioneer, the first locomative to operate in Chicago. It was know as L car #1.
The Museum offers a variety of programs, publications, and online resources related to Chicago and American history. For that reason, other beautiful part of the visit was the exhibition Inspiring Beauty: 50 years of Ebony Fashion Fair, with beautiful dresses and accessories.
To be continued... (with other stories, lol)
